Love Notes –Anita Dongre brings a Whimsical Feel to her Flagship Store in Mumbai

With Sabyasachi’s flagship store launch last week and now Anita Dongre’s it surely looks like bridal wear gods are in our favor! With her newest brainchild featured in her flagship store based in Kemps Corner, Mumbai, she decided to go the extra mile and did it so well. Titled ‘Love Notes’ her exquisite designs come with actual love notes to add a touch of whimsical romanticism to each creation, whether a lehenga, suit or anarkali. And who better than the understated beauty, Aditi Rao Hydari whom Anita Dongre picked to kick-off and enliven her creations!

Dongre’s Love Notes showcased bright prints in cotton georgettes and chanderi silk with multiple designs and floral patterns reminding us of old Mughal enameled walls. She hasn’t limited this new line of bridal wear to lehenga-cholis, jackets in Mens Wear, but also explored multiples styles and amalgamated them together creating something absolutely exquisite.  She has combined the sharara + jacket anarkali, and also added pockets to flowy bridal lehengas – a trend that is sure to pick up steam!
