Shubham & Roma Hua Hin : ‘A couple who were always meant to be together and made it possible beautifully!’

Sparks flew when Roma and Shubham met each other through their families and spotted each other at an event. Shubham took the first step by reconnecting with Roma on facebook and soon they got talking. And there was no looking back since then! After chatting for a while, he finally asked her out one day and that was the beginning of a beautiful four-year long courtship.

Traversing through the ups and downs of their long relationship, sharing and growing together over the years, marriage was the next natural progression of this beautiful chapter. Needless to say, both of them felt it in some magically silent way that the culmination of their four years of relationship should lead them into an eternal bond of being man and wife!

The Proposal

Shubham proposed to Roma in the most romantic way you can imagine! As he was already working in Pattaya, he tricked Roma’s sister in coming to Pattaya as part of a food contest she had won, and that too with her close friends! Once he got her on board, he told her about the ‘real plan.’ So they all set off to the picturesque setting of Pattaya as per what was decided. Shubham’s lady love Roma and her sister with all their close friends. With Roma having no clue of what was going to be in store for her!

Our thoughtful man Shubham, on the other hand, had all his mates and his sister whom he is pretty close to, already lined up to watch the special moment. And guess what? Roma was surprised beyond belief on seeing all there and even before everything could sink in for her, their que song ‘All of me’ by John Legend started playing!  Shubham then popped out a ring and did the needful 🙂

The Wedding

Roma and Shubham chose nothing less than the best for their wedding. The breathtaking property of The Palayana Resort in Hua Hin was where all the sweet saga unfolded. Being one of the first ones in their community and close social circle to have a destination wedding of that kind, the couple ensured everything was planned to the T. The fact that Shubham and his sister have worked in events before was a huge plus point! All in all the couple with their respective doting sisters came together and put out a great experience over months of meticulous planning and coordination.

Ask Shubham as to how they decided to choose the vendors and he says, “ Most of the vendors are our friends. We have worked with them before, so we know the quality of work they provided. The final decision for vendors was based on work quality and pricing.” 

Shubham and Roma’s wedding was such a hit that his sister even got approached to plan events by family friends seeing the arrangements!
