Mahesh & Shaili Alibag : This cute couple tied the knot in a super chic and larger than life wedding ceremony!

Shaili and Mahesh tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Alibag. We have fallen in love with their pictures! We came across some quirky, vibrant and colourful decor throughout the wedding saga.

The Love Story

A sunny afternoon of April 2017 changed Shaili and Mahesh’s lives. They shared a lovely brunch with each other and over some food and lots of conversation, they fell head over heels in love! Six months down the line they realised it’s time to tell their parents about their decision to get married. Certainly, it’s the best decision they’ve taken!

The Wedding Festivities..

Thier wedding festivities started with a cool masterchef competion after their guests arrived.

Master chef

Their wedding ceremony kicked off on a very happy and exciting note. They had a crazy masterchef event organized for their family and close friends. The participants were provided with traditional spice box and shaili designed an interesting recipe book of a few Indian dishes.

Games themed Mehendi

The quirky couple had an amazing and much interactive mehendi ceremony. They engaged their guests in games like Jenga, Can toss and carrom. Lest we forget, they even hosted a  hot sauce competition!

In her haldi ceremony, the bride wore a vibrant coral dress designed by Anamika Khanna.

Sangeet

The fun mehendi ceremony was followed by yet another cool and elegant sangeet ceremony with a magician as live entertainment. Another cool attraction at their sangeet was a photo-booth where the guests could print their photos as a memoire.

Haldi

The haldi ceremony was traditional bengali ceremony with some fun and quirky elements. They had some bengali folk dance dhunuchi as the bride hails from Bengal. Shaili wore a traditional bengali saree paired with floral jewellery and she looked beautiful.

They served both marwari and bengali food as a homage to the bride and groom’s traditions.

Wedding

The couple tied the knot in an outdoor wedding at Radisson Blu, Alibag. The bride featured a beautiful salmon Sabyasachi lehenga and she looked absolutely pretty!
