Ashrith & Tanvi Bangalore : From a tent mandap to a unique banarasi lehenga, this offbeat wedding will give you major goals!

Tanvi and Ashrith’s gorgeous wedding is taking the internet by storm for several reasons! From a unique tent-style mandap to Benarasi Lehengas to hosting a 2 states weddings, the couple themselves who are both DJs (how cool is that!) have given us major #weddinggoals. What we also loved throughout the wedding was how effortlessly nature and its resources were fused with the wedding decor, using wood to create centrepieces, florals in abundance and keeping the whole color palette of the wedding on the pastel side.

The Couple

Tanvi, the bride, reminsces “It was in early 2011 when we met through a dear common friend, Leon and the rest is history! I guess when you know what’s right, it’s right!” Well, we for one love stories that begin as friendship and culminate into one beautiful, intimate wedding!

The Wedding

“One of the most interesting facts worth mentioning is that we were keen on having a small and intimate affair at a remote temple tucked away from all civilisation but our families convinced us otherwise, and we ended up doing it in style just 4 months away from the actual date, and what a wedding it turned out to be, far beyond our wildest dreams!

On an evening prior to the wedding, what we called and thought would exclusively be a “Techno Mehendi” turned out to be an amalgamation of Bollywood, Punjabi and Techno to make sure everyone had their fair share of fun! Since the both of us are DJs we had a blast playing at our own wedding” reminsces Ashrith, the groom.
