Aman & Vishakha Mumbai : When ‘opposites attract’ came true for this adorable couple!

How They Met
They say opposites attract but at times, things need a push, don’t you think? In the case of Aman and Vishakha, the credit goes to their parents who arranged Aman and Vishakha to meet. It didn’t take long for the two to realise that there was a definite spark between them. Vishakha and Aman have polar opposite personalities but perhaps that’s what makes them perfect for each other :).

Mehendi & Haldi Ceremony
Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies took place at Vishakha’s home in Karnataka. The Haldi ceremony took place in the morning where friends and family gathered to apply haldi on the bride using tulsi leaves, followed by a dance performance which portrayed the various high points in Vishakha’s life. As the evening rolled on, the Mehendi ceremony too was filled with fun and laughter with the bride joining in to shake a leg.

The Wedding Ceremony
Vishakha’s father has always wanted a royal wedding for his daughter. Every detail was handpicked by Vishakha’s father. The pheras took place in an open lawn, while a group of 51 pujaris conducted the Ganga aarti and a couple more chanted the wedding shlokas. 

Vishakha wore a traditional red bridal lehenga with a stunning kundan choker with emerald drops. On the other hand, Aman wore a cream sherwani with golden thread work and red floral motifs. His sehra and dupatta were white and featured a red border. The couple looked amazing complimenting each other’s wedding ensemble.

The bidaai was as grand as the bride’s entry. Bidding her family farewell, Vishakha took Aman’s hand and stepped into a beautifully decorated chariot. They made their way out with a shower of fireworks to guide the way and their families blessing them on their new journey together.
