5 Tips to make your Sangeet Rehearsals Exciting
It is that time of the year when everyone has to start rehearsing!
For the SANGEET NIGHT!
The most sought after wedding functions, sangeet is synonymous with dancing, entertainment, leg-pulling, and a night filled with craziness.
If you ask me, the most fun part about this entire experience is the dance rehearsal before the sangeet. Managing these rehearsals is no joke and kudos to you if you have taken up this responsibility.
So, here are some tiny tips to make the sangeet rehearsals super-duper jhakaas:
1.Bring people together
Doing this virtually is way more easy than bringing people together. Make a Whatsapp group- this will allow you to function better and there will be better coordination and organization in terms of timings. Juggling timings and schedules of so many people is no mean feat!
2. Don’t segregate
Don’t segregate families and make different groups of friends, for example, school buddies, college friends, colleagues, etc. It is way more fun to have everyone mixed in groups.
3. The last rehearsal
After weeks of rehearsals and sweating it out, it is time to give the team some respite and of course some rewards as well. On the last day of rehearsals host a grand party!
4. Include older family members
Don’t limit your sangeet performances only to the youngsters. Include parents, uncles, aunts, and grandparents as well. Not only will it make them happier, but it will also add more entertainment and authenticity to your performance.
5. One crazy dance
Don’t forget to add at least one spontaneous or absolutely crazy dance performance to your host of performances on the sangeet night. This will add fun and entertainment value for sure!
So, are you sangeet-ready yet?
