Meeting your mother-in-law’s demands, deciding on the food menu, coordinating with your darzee and keeping your calm at the same time is a difficult task. It is perfectly normal to punch a person or two each day till your wedding. Stressing during the wedding planning period is acceptable, but hon, don’t let the stress get to you. Save yourself from turning into a bridezilla by doing these six easy things-
1. Unplug

It may sound a little difficult, but it is totally possible. Unplug yourself for 20 minutes every day. No phone, no TV, no social media. Just you and your thoughts. You can listen to some soothing music and meditate. Meditation is the best medicine, trust me!
2. Ask for Help

There is no rule book that says you have to do the entire work all by yourself. Delegate tasks and ask for help from family and friends. They will be more than happy to take the load off your hands.
3. Diet

It’s no secret that certain food can elevate our mood and make us feel better. Include foods such as oranges, strawberries, blueberries, chocolate and bananas in your regular diet. These items will instantly pump you up with energy and lift your mood.
4. Go on a Date

Studies say wedding planning often takes a toll on a couple’s relationship. The difference in opinions is a major cause of stress. Go on a date with your significant other and try not to talk about the wedding. Some quality time with the love of your life will prove to be beneficial!
5. Yoga

The wonders of yoga are known to all. Turn to yoga when everything else fails. It will help to keep your heart rate, blood pressure and stress in check.
6. Therapy

If you are under tremendous pressure and feel yourself slipping away, please seek help from a therapist. There is no shame in opting for therapy. A professional will be of more help than the internet.
