8 OPJL Brides who Dressed to Impress!

8 OPJL Brides who Dressed to Impress!

Every time I open my Instagram account, it is flooded with pictures of beautiful brides in gorgeous outfits. I am eternally grateful to the millennial brides for giving us a cartload of inspiration in terms of outfits. Whether it is in a quintessential red and maroon lehengas, yummy powder blues and salmon pinks, refreshing yellows or shimmery ones which are super-glamorous, they are flaunting it all.

My ever-growing curiosity for scouting through Instagram accounts of designers led me to the stunning creations by Om Parkash Jawahar Lal or OPJL. For OPJL, designing outfits is not just a profession, it is much more. Chandni Chowk’s oldest boutique for bridal wear, it has been creating eclectic traditional bridal heirlooms for women.  As a millennial bride, you will have a plethora of sartorial options to choose from.

I have curated a list of some stunning brides who chose OPJL for their wedding festivities and I am sure, you will want them in your trousseau right away:

1. Timeless bride

Red, a colour always associated with marriage and auspiciousness, has forever been a predominant part of a Hindu bride’s trousseau. This bride flaunts a stunning red lehenga with gold embellishments and heavy zari work on the borders. Not to miss the gorgeous emerald kundan jewellery paired with it, especially the rani haar and passa.

2. Flaunting the Florals

I am swooning over this baby pink lehenga with large floral motifs embroidered on it. The pink and burgundy tassels and the sheer dupatta, make this outfit stand out even more.

3. Shimmery or Summery?

Scouting for a perfect mehendi outfit? This lehenga created by OPJL is a head-turner! The summery refreshing mango colour with loads of shimmer and shine, make this a drool-worthy pick. Something you can definitely consider for any other afternoon function as well.

4. ‘Blush’ing in pink

This blush pink embroidered lehenga is a delight to the eyes. The heavy borders and the dash of glitz, add the extra oomph to the outfit. The bride has gone in for a double dupatta and the turquoise certainly helps in breaking the monotony.

5. Burgundy and Gold Burst!

Are you in love with velvet lehengas? If yes, this burgundy one is surely an unmissable choice. The heavily embroidered lehenga skirt and blouse, make this a noteworthy pick for brides who don’t believe in, ‘Less is more.’

6. Not your bride next door!

This bride has gone way beyond conventional outfit choices and chosen this beautiful silver lehenga with gold undertones and unique patterns.

OPJL has me dumbfounded by this lehenga which strikes a perfect balance between traditional and contemporary. This beige outfit with rust, green and gold embellishments is quite a stunner.
