8 Sikh Brides Who gave us Major Maharani Vibes on their D-day

8 Sikh Brides Who gave us Major Maharani Vibes on their D-day

Weddings, especially in India, are known for their opulence and extravaganza when it comes to outfits flaunted by brides. Almost every time I scroll through my Instagram feed I remain baffled by a look or two, mesmerized by the brides’ sheer gorgeousness and the beauty of their D-day outfits.

However, there is something mysterious and charming about Sikh brides that sets them apart from the rest. I don’t know if it is their glam quotient, their unconventional outfit choices, or their taste for very different hues that make it easy to spot a Sikh bride.

From traditional outfits to rather hatke ones, here are some Sikh brides who WOWED me with their superlative style, and looked nothing short of royalty:

1. This bride looked like a princess straight out of a Fairytale in this baby pink lehenga, replete with gold embellishments.

2. Burst of freshness: This bride looked like a million bucks in her salmon lehenga with gold and silver embellishments.

Not to miss the oh-so-gorgeous multi-coloured statement polki jewellery.

3. This beautiful bride made a simple anarkali shine by flaunting it right!

I am in love with the colour combination, the belt accentuating the waist and the contrasting double dupattas.

4. Seldom do we come across such rare yet striking colour combinations- An olive- grey and rust lehenga, paired with a baby pink blouse. I am smitten by the large elephants, paisleys, and peacocks on the outfit.

5. This Sikh bride took the colour pink to a whole new level! The heavy embroidery on the outfit, the tassels on the side, and the choice of jewellery make it a drool-worthy ensemble.

6. Ditching the conventional choli, this Sikh bride opted for a longer kurta instead. The dull orange and gold combination and the super-heavy embroidery work make it a stunner!

7. This bride’s lehenga is nothing short of a riot of colours! The heavy embroidery work, the large florals on the dupatta and the beautiful kaleeras, make this ensemble shine!

8. This bride’s maroon and silver outfit screamed elegance, grace, and gorgeousness! Replete with heavy silver embellishments, the outfit is a definite head-turner. Not to miss the exquisite choker.
