Sanchit & Aashika Delhi : An array of super fun themes, vibrant outfits and unmatched enthusiasm- this wedding is major goals!

Aashika and Sanchit, our featured couple of the day, have proven that you can find your soulmate in the least expected way possible. The super fun, themed and colour coordinated wedding functions are not the only fascinating aspect of the wedding, their cute story has won us over too!

About the couple

The couple’s  parents were trying to find a suitable match for their respective children and decided to get their kids together for a meet and greet. Sounds like a typical arranged marriage story, right? Think again!

While attending a friend’s wedding in Mumbai, Sanchit requested to meet Aashika who was also studying there. Unfortunately Sanchit got sloshed at the said friend’s wedding and started calling Aashika repeatedly, while drunk. Aashika was livid and she started to get jittery about meeting him.

The next morning, Sanchit realized what had happened while he was drunk and requested to sort things out by meeting her. Moreover, he was turning pale thinking about what would happen if Aashika somehow informed his mom about his behaviour!

They finally met and what followed was a rather long conversation of five to six hours. There was something that made them click, something that made them get along and they probably weren’t sure enough of what it was either.

For Aashika, Sanchit was someone with whom she could be herself, she would feel free with him, she felt a sense of stability and security.

There was a point when they realized they were perfect for one another, despite their diametrically opposite natures, and that’s when they decided they couldn’t fit together with anyone else.

The Wedding..

The bride and groom wanted their wedding ceremonies to be special, enjoyable and of course memorable!

Although the wedding planners pretty much handled all the leg work, Aashika and her parents took keen interest in the wedding planning process as a whole.

Every function was planned in detail, each of them having not only a different theme, but colour coordinated outfits especially for the couple and some chic, super quirky and peppy decor that stood out.

The Mehendi ceremony was a carnival theme, with the bride and groom flaunting rather simple and subtle pastel outfits. Using rose gold and glass, trying to keep it extremely classy and modern-the engagement ceremony totally stole the show in terms of decor.

The flowery themed haldi and the funky pool party didn’t fail to impress us as well. What made us blush most was the cute, adorable and chilled-out pre-wedding shoot at Mussoorie. The photographers managed to capture the couple’s reactions perfectly, they weren’t just random clicks, but also well connected to their love story!

This wedding deserves full marks for the energy, the enthusiasm and the efforts put into it! From the themes to the clothes and from the photography to the high levels of energy, this wedding blew our minds away!!
