Mohak & Anamika Delhi : An elegant Delhi wedding with a bride in red lehenga that captured our hearts!

Anamika and Mohak tied the knot in an elegant wedding at The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon. This full swing Punjabi wedding saw people dancing to their heart’s content and having utmost fun, just like the couple wanted!

The Love Story..

Five years ago a sweet girl met a handsome man via social media. Little did they know, that their first meeting at a cafe will turn their world upside down! Anamika and Mohak met at Blue Door cafe in Delhi and fell in love at first sight! They knew right then that they were going to marry each other!

The Wedding Festivities..

Anamika was sure that she wanted a few elements in her wedding. She wanted to give her traditional punjabi wedding a dash of contemporary English decor. She says, “I really wanted to have fun, full of life  punjabi wedding with a touch of English decor. All functions had a specific theme so that our guests would get a festive vibe!”

The Mehendi Ceremony..

The wedding festivities kicked off with a mehendi ceremony by the pool. The decor was colourful and vibrant with hanging kaleeras and tassels. Anamika looked radiant in a multicoloured brocade lehenga while Mohak wore a green kurta with peach Nehru jacket. We loooved Anamika’s loose braid adorned with baby’s breath!

The Engagement Ceremony..

The theme for the sagan + cocktails was pastel and sophisticated. Donned in gowns and suits, the wedding party had the time of their life, breaking a leg to punjabi music! While the decor was subtle, a backdrop was etched with the couple’s initials ‘MohAna’.

The Wedding..

Anamika finally got the chance to walk down the aisle towards the love of her life. She wore a beautiful red lehenga and heavy kundan and emerald jewellery. The theme was red and golden, keeping in sync with the punjabi culture! Anamika and Mohak united in holy matrimony and walked hand in hand towards a new life together!
