Tariq & Aytal Delhi : A wedding which was a perfect amalgamation of elegance, simplicity and admirable chemistry.
This wedding is a benchmark for millennial couples who are on the lookout for having a wedding affair which is characterised by elegance, sophistication, and grace.
About the couple
Aytal and Tariq were introduced to each other as part of a quintessential arranged marriage setting. They hit it off in the first instance and realised that they have a lot in common. There was no awkwardness and more of an understanding between the two.
After a week, Tariq proposed to Aytal through his family and the deal was sealed.
Their courtship period lasted for about five months, which helped them spend more time with one another and develop a better rapport.
The Wedding Festivities
Haldi
The festivities began with the haldi ceremony, wherein the bride was escorted to the venue with a phoolon ki chaadar overhead.
The bride was dressed in a subtle yellow sharara with embroidery on it. She paired it with fuschia pink and white floral jewellery. The groom complemented her well, flaunting an ochre kurta and a printed floral bandhgala jacket.
The most striking part of this ceremony was that although the couple was dressed in understated outfits, they looked stunning!
Wedding
Laden with statement gold and emerald jewellery, the bride, Aytal, dazzled from head to toe. She wore a gold maangtikka with encrusted gemstones and pearls and a similar-looking passa. She adorned an oversized gold choker with dainty emerald pearls dangling at the ends. This was paired with a teen-lada raani haar.
Her red traditional lehenga with subtle gold embellishments was quite a delight! Tariq, on the other hand, wore an ivory and light cream sherwani. The contrasting colours of the couple, made them stand out even more.
Reception (Walima)
Aytal added a whole lot of jazz to the event with her decadent heavily embellished bronze gold lehenga, paired with a feather-detailed dupatta. This was a good swap for the traditional vermillion.
Her bridesmaids looked gorgeous in pastel-hued lehengas- ivory, light cream, and yummy powder blue.
Tariq looked suave and charming in a crisp black tuxedo.
Brunch
A day after the reception, the family arranged a brunch for the newlyweds. The couple was dressed in refreshingly gorgeous outfits. Tariq wore an ultramarine blue bandhgala sherwani paired with white pants. The bride upped her style ante by donning a mauve pre-draped saree with a ruffled skirt and looked like a million bucks!
