Pranav & Divya Delhi : The story of two pilots who personify the meaning of ‘love is in the air’!

About the Couple
“Iss dosti ko rishtedaari mein badalte hain!” – Does this dialogue sound too cheesy? Not in the case of this ‘pilot couple’. Pranav and Divya, both pilots, have been family friends for the longest time, their fathers being batchmates-turned-friends during their time in the air force. Call it fate or coincidence, Divya and Pranav did not have to look beyond each other to find their soulmate.

About the Venue
Their families had attended many weddings at Aerocity. Since it was an airforce area, it held sentimental value for the couple and their families. In fact, the venue was decided before the wedding date!

Mehendi & Sangeet
Divya and Pranav’s wedding celebrations spanned over two days – 23rd and 24th February 2019. It began with the Mehendi ceremony on 23rd morning and was held in the morning by the poolside at the Lemon Tree Premier in Aerocity, New Delhi while the Sangeet took place at sunset in Roseate House. For Mehendi, Divya wore a mint and light olive lehenga while Pranav went for a cream kurta-churidar and paired it with a turquoise Nehru jacket.

Haldi, Wedding & Reception
On the 24th, the day began with an intimate haldi ceremony where friends and family came together to apply haldi on the bride and groom. This was followed by a beautiful wedding ceremony where Divya wore a maroon velvet bridal lehenga with an emerald jewellery set while Pranav made a grand entry with his baraat in cream sherwani from Shyamal & Bhumika. The wedding celebrations came to an end with a fun-filled Reception.
