Dhaivat & Minoti Ahmedabad : Opulent floral decor and ethnic outfits- this wedding was a riot of colours!
Largely traditional and ethnic, this wedding saw a good mix of some intimate and understated while some super opulent and extravagant functions.
The Wedding Festivities
Haldi and Ganesh Puja
The haldi and Ganesh puja were combined together. It was a rather intimate affair with close friends and family. Minoti, the bride, wore a minimalistic orange outfit paired with simple traditional earrings and bangles. The bride’s family was seen having a gala time!
Mehendi and Sangeet
For the mehendi ceremony, the bride aced her look with a blue lehenga with gold embellishments. She paired this refreshing outfit with very dainty jewellery.
The Sangeet was more of a lively function. The bride wore a rani pink lehenga with an ochre-yellow blouse. The groom donned a royal blue kurta and white chudidaar. The bride’s blouse perfectly matched the groom’s kurta. The decor was modernistic and classy-with bronze terrarium lanterns, which fit as perfect ceiling decor elements.
Wedding and Reception
The bride looked like a million bucks in her avant garde red and gold lehenga with heavy embroidery. She stuck to traditional jewellery- a combination of gold, green and white. The groom looked dapper in a royal blue velvet bandhgala sherwani. The mandap made out of white and red flowers was a delight to the eyes and we really loved the hanging glass vases with roses.
The couple was twinning in black outfits for their reception. The overall decor with bunches of fairy lights ands floral arrangements was absolutely stunning!
