As the bride walked down the aisle in a white gown and veil, one look and her groom skipped a heartbeat. Monisha and Varun tied the knot in a quaint church in Mumbai. Their quintessential story has its own personal touch which makes it special!

About the Couple

Monisha and Varun first met each other via common friends. They both bumped into a party that they were forced to go to. They clicked but had limited conversations. Well, fate had something special in store for them cause they met again 8 months later. They both were at the Irish pub where Monisha went to the bar to get herself a drink. Standing at the bar was none other than the tall and handsome Varun! They finally exchanged numbers and hit it off! Monisha says, “We realised that we bring out the best in each other by just being ourselves. Feels like it was definitely planned by someone up there! We didn’t expect anything from each other and had similar priorities. We treated each other respectfully and in a way that we would want to be treated. Through all of this, we figured that we wanted each other for the rest of our lives.” Varun popped the question in February 2018 and it was instant “yes” from Monisha! They finally tied the knot a year later.

The Wedding

The lovebirds decided to celebrate their big day with their dear and near ones. After one year’s worth of planning, they got married on a beautiful winter afternoon. Monisha donned a white gown with ruffles and net sleeves while Varun wore a white three-piece suit. Together they looked like a dreamy couple! Before we forget, they wrote cute messages for each other on their footwear! The church wedding was followed by an evening full of fun, laughter and dance.
