Abraar & Sadia Dhaka : Extravagant outfits and enviable decor-this wedding is a major inspiration for all new-age couples!

This Dhaka wedding was a combination of elegance, class, and grandeur. The couple’s stylish ensembles and the opulent decor are a sight to behold!

About the couple

The first time Sadia and Abraar saw each other it was part of a quintessential arranged marriage meeting. However, they started meeting each other multiple times and gradually fell in love. It is truly a match made in heaven- Sadia says he treats her like a crown on his head, while Abraar says she has changed her life and made it much more beautiful. 

Haldi 

The wedding festivities kicked off with the Holud or Haldi ceremony. Sadia wore a mango and red lehenga, with beautiful zari work on it. She paired it with three oversized necklaces, with statement pendants, a mang tikka and beautiful earrings. The jewellery was edgy, contemporary and had offbeat designs. Abraar wore an ochre kurta, white churidar and a beige bandhgala jacket over it. 

The decor was elaborate with drapes made out of marigolds, bunches of exotic flowers and the walkway for the bride was decorated with vibrant flowers and ferns, cascading from the top. The bride was escorted to the venue in a palanquin or palki. The highlight of the function was undoubtedly singer Mika Singh’s dhamakedaar performances. 

Sangeet 

The sangeet ceremony took place at Abraar’s house. For this, Sadia wore a yellow embellished lehenga with a sheer red dupatta. She paired her outfit with a contrasting emerald choker and a multicoloured necklace. Abraar flaunted a baby pink kurta paired with a cream embroidered bandhgala jacket. The function saw a whole lot of breathtaking dance performances, by friends, family, and the couple.

Wedding 

The wedding decor was nothing short of extraordinary! The archway leading to the venue was enveloped in red drapes, cascading flowers and cascading vintage chandeliers. 

Sadia wore a heavy red traditional lehenga with gold embellishments, paired with large and a polki rani haar with a huge emerald as the pendant. Abraar wore a cream sherwani with heavy gold embroidery and a velvet maroon and gold shawl. He paired his outfit with a diamond necklace. 

Reception

The reception was a classy and elegant affair. Abraar was dressed in a crisp black tuxedo, while Sadia wore a beige lehenga with silver undertones and a contemporary dupatta with fringe details. She paired her outfit with a layered diamond necklace with a tiny emerald encrusted on each layer.
