Sania Mirza’s Sister Anam Mirza Ties the Knot with cricketer Asaduddin

Sania Mirza’s sister Anam Mirza recently tied the knot with former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin’s son, Asaduddin in Hyderabad. She announced her wedding on December 12, when she posted her wedding picture on Instagram. 

Anam and Sania, both kept their fans updated with the pre-wedding and wedding pictures via Instagram and netizens were gushing over the aww-so-gorgeous photos. Post the wedding, the two hosted a star-studded reception in Hyderabad. The attendees included Farah Khan, Ram Charan, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Azharuddin’s ex-wife, Sangeeta Bijlani, and others.

Bridal Shower

Prior to the wedding festivities, Anam Mirza had a super-chilled Bridal shower. Her sister and well-known Tennis star Sania Mirza and her close friends were present at the gathering. Anam was seen flaunting a chic white t-shirt and ruffled baby pink skirt. She kept her makeup minimal and flaunted a cute tiara.

Thereafter, the gorgeous bride Anam had her mehendi ceremony and she looked nothing short of a princess in a multi-coloured outfit. Her outfit flaunted large abstract designs and patterns. She paired her outfit with a gold choker and her unconventional hairstyle with baby breaths won my heart! Sania Mirza was seen wearing a black and red lehenga, sans the dupatta. She completed her ensemble with some statement neckpieces.

The sangeet ceremony was an elaborate affair and everyone was dressed to impress! Anam was seen rocking a sage green lehenga, switching a shorter blouse for a long kurta. The subtle silver embellishments added the extra bit of WOW to the outfit! The bride wore traditional kundan earrings paired with a multi-coloured statement necklace and tied her hair in a bun, bedecked with white and pink flowers. Sania Mirza sizzled in her purple outfit paired with a greyish-hued scalloped dupatta.

Anam looked a billion bucks in her baby pink ensemble with golden embroidery, paired with a purple dupatta. Asad wore a beige sherwani with elegant embellishments, paired with a gold safa and ruby kalgi. Sania looked nothing short of royalty in her turquoise green and gold sharara set, paired with polki jewellery.

Bedazzling!

This is what defined Anam’s Super-stunning silver gown paired with diamond jewellery. Asad looked dapper in a classic black tux. Sania Mirza kept it traditional and flaunted a burgundy lehenga, paired with a pretty dupatta.

Asaduddin is a cricketer and he made his first-class debut in Goa in the 2018-2019 Ranjhi Trophy in 2018. Anam Mirza is a curator of fashion and a stylist.
