Pallav & Aashna Bangalore : This Sabyasachi bride had the most fashionable wedding at Taj Westend Bangalore!
Pallav and Aashna just got hitched in the most gorgeous wedding at Taj Westend Banglore! From an outdoor mehndi and haldi function, to a beautiful sangeet function in Taj Westend banquet halls, this couple has had it all! In fact, we've never seen an entire family dressed so fashionably before! It was definitely one of the most fashionable weddings at Taj Westend ever! From not shying away from big, floral prints, to carrying off pastel hues with perfection, the bride and groom have set wedding troussaeu standards quite high.
Proposal:
"My proposal was at a beautiful sunset by a lake, 2 hours from Bangalore. I did not have to think for a second, I instantly said yes! Pallav and my relationship has always come naturally to us, so doubts and fears were not even in my head. I was so sure of our love, I didn't even hesitate" gushes Aashna, our bride!
Having met through common friends during the last year of college, Aashna and Pallv hit it off instantly and began dating. A healthy relationship is what ensued, moments of lifting each other up, growing in life together, the relationship causing a positie impact in every aspect of their life. Well, when it comes to love like that, we guess you just have to know!
How did you choose the venue?
"We wanted a destination wedding feel in the city of Bangalore and after visiting almost every possible venue in the city, we knew Taj Westend, Bangalore was for us" reminisces Pallav. A serene, lush green heritage hotel (125 years old), soread over 20 acres in the heart of the city, transported the couple's wedding function to another world. "We had a 3 day wedding and all the themes revolved around Taj Westend. Cocktail function was kept classic, with gowns and tuxedos and all-white decor.
Our Mehndi function at Taj Westend was very colorful with fun, interactive games, dancing and a mela atmosphere. The Haldi was kept under the rain tree, the oldest tree in the venue, lending a traditional yet fun feel!
How did you choose the wedding theme?
The wedding theme represented the couple's vision of "Fairytale", just like their love story. With the deocr done by Poonam Mayank Sharma, you can spot all the pinterest-y signs, the floral arches, the crystals and the harp musicians. With a western decor, Prince of Wales lawns played host for the winter wedding at Taj Westend, Bangalore
The Wedding Day!
"My wedding day was the best day of my life!" gushes Aashna "We had a traditional royal wedding along with a slight western touch. We wrote letters to each other before the wedding and I really poured my heart out. It was a lovely initiative by our photographers. My advice to brides would be to really remember what your wedding day is about: your love. That's all that matters and you won't get caught up in the madness.
Photography:
Candid Tales were the official photographers for the wedding "They were the icing to our cake. They were so professional and being a couple themselves, Rishabh and Aarti put us at ease, showing us how to pose and not be awkward because there was really no time! Weddings are so hectic and yet, they took time to stay by our side, capturing everything" praises Pallav
