Virushka Wedding: Inside Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma’s Star-Studded Mumbai Reception!

December 2017 has officially been #Virushka’s month and the duo are still breaking the internet with their wedding pictures and videos. After taking their wows in a private ceremony in Tuscany, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma took off on their mini-moon only to return back and kick start their bigger celebrations.

After hosting their first reception in Delhi on December 21, the newly-weds hosted their second and final reception at St.Regis, Mumbai, last night. They did not shy away from all the pomp and show at the event, which also boasted a star-studded guest list.

They say “save the best for the last” and Anushka’s final look for her extended wedding celebration totally agrees. Sharma chose to opt for a dramatic, vintage, gold lehenga by Sabyasachi (obviously). The lehenga comprised of a noodle strap blouse, embellished lehenga skirt and a shimmery dupatta belted to the skirt.

Anushka completed her look with a necklace and earrings from the Sabyasachi Fine Jewelry collection, minimal makeup and side swept curls.

This is what the designer had to say about her look, “For her Mumbai reception, Anushka wanted to wear old-world glamour. And we decided to ‘Jazz’ it up in smoky grey. Award winning master craftsmen from Lucknow rendered her stunning dupatta which was clinched on the waist with our ‘Bengal tiger’ belt. Anushka’s look was accessorised with a necklace and earrings handcrafted with rose cut diamonds, solitaires and briolettes from the Sabyasachi Fine Jewelry collection”.

P.S. We can’t take our eyes off how Anushka has paired her traditional red choodas with the lehenga. *so cute*

On the other hand, Virat’s look comprised of a navy bandhgala in velvet by Raghavendra Rathore, complementing Anushka’s look all the way.
