Harsh & Anisha Manesar : This inter-cultural shaadi saw two wedding functions and it was double the fun!

An Indian wedding is like a party filled with grandeur, luxury, pomp, and vibrancy. Now, imagine the fun this couple had when they tied the knot twice! Read on to know more about this inter-cultural affair…

Maharashtrian wedding

“Navrai maajhi laadachi laadhachi ga, avad hila chandrachi chandrachi ga,

Navrai maajhi navsaachi navsaachi ga, apsara jashi indrachi indrachi ga.”

This beautiful song popped in our minds, the moment we laid our eyes on this beautiful bride dressed in an ethnic mango and green Paithani saree, paired with gold jewellery and a traditional Maharashtrian pearl nath. Not to miss the green glass bangles and the dainty kamarbandh which accentuated her silhouettes.

The bride was looking ethereal. Despite flaunting a rather understated saree, she looked graceful and pretty. The groom wore a simple white kurta and a mango coloured stole with gold borders. An intimate haldi ceremony was followed by the Maharashtrian-style wedding.

Hindu wedding

Anisha looked stunning in a traditional red heavily embellished lehenga, paired with impressive kundan jewellery with emerald pearls. Instead of the conventional choodhas, she wore a set of red bangles sandwiched between bronze gold kadas.

Harsh wore an ivory sherwani paired with a maroon velvet dupatta and a pearl necklace. He teamed this with a red safa and a beautiful kalgi pinned on it.
