The Story

Kanika and Ashit got hitched recently at Goa in a beautiful destination wedding, by the beach. Drinking, dancing, fun and of course a jaw-dropping background of the sunset, made this wedding nothing short of breathtaking!

Their Story..

It all started at school, where Kanika and Ashit were batchmates. Years later, they came in contact over a jewellery startup venture. They continued to stay in touch for a while, until one day they realized they actually clicked!!

It was almost as if there was always something between them, some spark, some magic, but all what was needed was things to fall into place, their hearts to meet and love to blossom. This story just makes us blush!

The Wedding..

The main focus of the wedding was the fact that both the bride and groom wanted a sunset wedding. “The most important thing for us in this wedding was that we together with our families wanted to have fun.” They wanted to tie the knot with the beautiful sunset in the background, at the beach and amidst close family and friends. With only two days at hand they had to pack in all the ceremonies, keeping in mind that there should be more fun and less stress. And they made it happen!!! The wedding was stunning, the couple looked adorable and undoubtedly the beach setting took our breath away!

Both of them were so preoccupied with their work that preparing for the wedding and getting the suitable vendors was no mean feat.They tried to squeeze in their wedding related tasks on the weekend and did most of the planning and conceptualization much in advance to avoid any mishaps. Their family also played a major role in making this dreamy destination wedding come to life. For any bride-to-be, this would be a dream come true!

About Delhi Velvet and Rahul Saharan..

“We were working on a certain budget and had a particular theme and quality of pictures in mind. We then finalised Delhi Velvet after talking to Divishth. He made us quite comfortable in the first conversation itself, when he asked more questions about each other than about the venue etc. After a point in time, we were very comfortable in shooting with Divishth and Rahul as they also understood us as a couple very well and were very patient. The pictures of both pre wedding and the Goa events are very unique and creative. We have loved most of the pictures that have come out till now simply because of how real they are. A special mention for Rahul Saharan, as he went out of the way each time and always became a part of all celebrations, like a friend.”
