Pranav & Nisha Udaipur : A decade of love blossoms into an eternal union!

Nisha and Pranav’s love for each other is a pristine personification of this quote. With all the lemons and spades life threw at them, this couple literally stood by each other, grew with one another and ended up as partners for life!

The Story

It is difficult to find a true tale of young love and classic romance traversing years, in today’s app-based, casual dating world. Cupid struck first for Pranav way back in college at Georgia Tech, the USA which they attended together. As fate would have it, they both ended up working for the same firm too! And that’s when Nisha’s heart started humming the same tune as Pranav’s. Starting out as friends, best friends and then eventually partners for a decade, marriage was just a natural progression of legitimizing the bond!

Cutting all the frills and drama out, the families warmly welcomed each other and got into this one large boat for planning the dream wedding!

The Proposal

When you have been with your lover for that long, all room for formality becomes passe. There is music in silence too and a lot is spoken and understood without words itself! Similarly in Nisha and Pranav’s case, there was really no proposal as such. They both knew deep down in their hearts that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives as man and wife. A silent confession entwined with a silent acknowledgment did it for them 🙂

The Wedding Ceremony 

Having settled in the States for decades now, the families felt that the union is a great way to reconnect with their Indian diaspora. And what better way to execute this than to have a destination wedding in the picturesque city of lakes- Udaipur?! Set amidst the background of heritage Havelis and serene lakes, the wedding festivities kickstarted at the absolutely breathtaking property of Radisson Palace, Udaipur.

What awaited was a zestful spread of a packed Big Fat Indian Wedding! Roping in the finest connoisseurs of every wedding prep department, Nisha and Pranav’s marriage functions proved to be worth the decade long wait! Every ounce of the Radisson Palace echoed in exuberance and royalty.   

Starting out with their pre-wedding ceremonies, Nisha looked like a million bucks in her Anita Dongre lehenga for the mehendi. Pranav’s Tarun Tahiliani bandhgala jacket complimented it. Sangeet was a splendours event for the couple donning a Seema Gujral intricate lehenga and Pranav settling in with one of Traun Tahiliani’s creations again.

Come d-day, Nisha opted for a pretty pastel lehenga from Kalki while Pranav looked dapper in a Shaahid Amir sherwani. Pranav stuck to the same designer for his reception party. This time around opting for a bold black achkan with bespoke buttons. Nisha notched it up with an ethereal beige Seema Gujral lehenga.

Event Entourage put up the show together while also taking care of the decor. DJ Neet Nagpal had everyone grooving as the folks from Camera Crew captured it all!
