Vineet & Radhika Mumbai : A Grand Maharashtrian Wedding with Inspirational Decor

Vineet & Radhika Mumbai : A Grand Maharashtrian Wedding with Inspirational Decor

Fairy lights on grass frames, jute back drops with colorful DIY fans and a Vedi mandap decorated with banana leaves – Vineet and Radhika did it differently! Unconventional décor coupled with the right dash of tradition made us want to shower them with multiple heart-eyed emojis (for real).

Radhika’s mehendi was a full blown Bollywood affair! Bright and bold colours balanced with jute backdrops and a white-painted cycle for the décor was a great shift from the conventional. This bride-to-be donned a straight-cut kurta and lehenga in a stunning combination of blush pink and fuchsia with beautiful gota work and gold thread embroidery all over. Her pastel blue chandballi-patterned jewellery complemented her entire ensemble just right.

The sangeet stage was set up with fresh green ferns strung with rice lights and a grand glass chandelier hung in the center, adding that extra touch of class. Miniature shiny disco balls were hung stunningly between the lights and lush grass, reflecting off the yellows and greens beautifully. Radhika’s lehenga matched the earthy yet classy décor. Her lehenga was in a royal shade of emerald green, intricately embroidered with gold motifs all over. It swayed gracefully as she danced alongside her favorite girls and was flared perfectly as she sat and watched the boys do the ‘Lungi Dance’.

With each passing ceremony, the level of grandeur reached new heights – especially their indoor marriage ceremony! The Vedi Mandap was spruced with crystal strings, marigold flowers and large banana leaves – what an exceptional way to add a fresh green factor to your wedding décor. Vineet went all out with his attire, not leaving behind the style quotient. He wore a pastel green kurta with stunning gold embroidery and paired it with a white dhoti. Radhika included every element of a true Maharashtrian bride in mind and donned a red paithani nauvari saree with a royal blue blouse. Her layered gold jewellery and dangling jhumkas completed her entire bridal look.

P K Suri proved his unmatched talent yet again. His sheer technique and keen eye for detail make each photograph a work of art.
