Abhay & Reena Mumbai : A Vivaah To Remember

It’s a fact that when it comes to marriages in India, every culture is strikingly different from each other. Weddings in India are loud, colorful and filled with various rituals and ceremonies – and Reena and Abhay’s wedding was just that!

Their wedding had compelling and elaborated ceremonies likethe dance-filled baraat, the haldi, sindoor dana, jaimala and many more. The grand wedding venue at Ayush Palace, Navi Mumbai looked like something out of the Jodha Akbar the movie set. So regal. So splendid. So majestic.

A gorgeously outdoor mandap was set up with yellow and red scalloped drapes across the ceiling. The bride sparkled in a classic yellow nauvaari saree wearing minimal make-up and delicate traditional gold jewellery. The groom looked absolutely dapper in his traditional white sherwani. He paired his intricately embroidered sherwani with a metallic maroon churidaar and an embellished crushed dupatta. Together, this traditionally dressed couple completed every Maharashtrian wedding ritual in the presence of family, friends and loved ones.
