Sikander & Saaba Delhi : This Shaadi saw an uber-cool pre-wedding shoot, coordinated outfits, and inspirational decor ideas!

This wedding had scintillating and unconventional decor ideas, elegant outfits and a lot of little intricate details. Read on to know more about this enviable love story..

About the couple..

Saaba and Sikander met almost 8 years ago, while they were pursuing C.A. This love story started off with friendship and before they knew it both of them had fallen in love with each other!

This adorable couple had so much in common-basic values, a similar approach toward life and most importantly their food choices (wink wink).

Saaba liked the fact that she could be herself in front of him and she didn’t need to pretend when he was around. What binds them together even today is their friendship, more than anything else!

The Wedding Festivities..

“I wanted to enjoy each and every aspect, minute and detail of the wedding planning. So even when things couldn’t go my way, I would tell myself this is not coming back again so make the most of it and forget the fretting.”

Pre-wedding

The couple had a rather chilled-out pre-wedding shoot. They were seen chilling in their pyjamas, gorging on junk food, chugging wine and having a BLAST!!

Mehendi and Haldi

Mehendi decor included different hues of pink. The decor had a refreshing and young vibe to it! The bride flaunted a beautiful floral lehenga, while the groom looked dapper in his yellow nehru jacket.

The Haldi was a rather intimate and private affair with close friends and family!

Cocktail

The cocktail decor was done by ace wedding decorator, Gautam Vedi. It was all black and gold, with Moroccan lights and a stunning unconventional backdrop. The bride and groom dazzled in their gorgeous outfits, the bride in shimmery silver and the groom in royal blue!

Wedding

The wedding theme was white and lavender with hints of gold and green foliage. It was absolutely dreamy and enchanting! It had a western feel to it and wasn’t a very typical traditional-looking decor. Every aspect of the decor had a lot of attention to detail. The highlight of the ceremony was the humongous lit-up hashtag on the stage.

This wedding had elements which were not typical or traditional, but in fact more western-inspired ones which set the decor bar rather high!!

About the photographer..

“Snapsoul was the most easy breezy vendor to work with. Aditya made sure I got what I wanted and worked on the smallest details possible. They delivered everything timely and went back and forth with me on everything I wasn’t satisfied with. Shooting with them was the most fun experience ever!! We thoroughly enjoyed our pre-wedding shoot, without getting even a tad bit impatient. Also, they are anything but cheesy and I love this about them the most!”
