Karan & Saloni Delhi : With extravagant floral decor and unconventional outfits, this wedding set the bar rather high!

Karan & Saloni Delhi : With extravagant floral decor and unconventional outfits, this wedding set the bar rather high!

You must have seen a number of brides getting teary-eyed and emotional on their D-day, but in this wedding we saw the groom’s eyes well up with tears as he saw his beautiful bride walk towards the wedding mandap. Read on to know more about what happened at this adorable couple’s wedding…

The Wedding Festivities

Mehendi

The wedding celebrations kicked off with an indoor mehendi ceremony. Saloni looked ethereal and stunning as she flaunted a fuschia pink and orange lehenga, paired with some interesting floral jewellery. Karan wore a white chudidaar and kurta, and paired it with a turquoise traditional-looking jacket.

Post the mehendi, Saloni and Karan were seen having a gala time, grooving with their family and friends. The bride’s outfit complemented the floral decor particularly well.

Sangeet

With large chandeliers and a traditional frame used as a backdrop, the sangeet ceremony decor succeeded in ‘Wow’ing us!

Saloni wore a white full-length dress with floral embroidery, while Karan looked suave in his crisp navy blue suit. The couple set the stage on fire with their killer dance moves and we couldn’t get enough of it!

Haldi

This was a rather intimate affair, with close family and friends. Saloni wore a fuschia pink and orange suit with golden embellishments. The decor was simple and classy, with the backdrop made up of white and yellow flowers.

Wedding

Saloni was seen flaunting an unconventional sage green and gold shimmery lehenga, paired with a dupatta that had a bit of pink on the borders, giving the outfit a bit of contrast. The jewellery was particularly exquisite and the bride did a good job in not overdoing the jewellery. The polki and pearl necklace with matching earrings and maathapatti, were a delight to the eyes. Not to miss the green and gold oversized jhumar with strings made up of white micropearls. Karan wore a white bandhgala sherwani, with a light green safa and peacock kalgi.

The decor was like it was straight out of a fairytale. The baby pink fabrics and the mandap with large pastel-hued flowers and gobs of ferns and foliage, stole our hearts.

The most striking feature of this wedding was when Karan became emotional on seeing his bride walking towards the wedding mandap and tears of joy rolled down his cheeks. On the other hand, Saloni was chilled-out, dancing and enjoying the moment. The two hugged and couldn’t take their eyes off each other. It is for moments like these, we love writing about weddings at weddingz.in.
