Simran & Saloni Hua Hin : Adorable couple and breathtaking venue- this destination wedding is major inspiration!

Simran & Saloni Hua Hin : Adorable couple and breathtaking venue- this destination wedding is major inspiration!

A gorgeous, larger than life butterfly-themed mehendi function, a romantic wedding by the beach and what’s best?- Two weddings at the same venue! While Saloni tied the knot to her beau Simran, her brother Udit also got hitched to Drishti at The Palayana.

This wedding was refreshing, vibrant and had a breathtaking decor!

About the couple..

Just like a Bollywood movie, in this love story too, the airport played a vital role in bringing two people together.

Saloni, the bride, believed in something from Greek mythology, which she would often talk to Simran about. According to mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs and one head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate parts, in a quest to spend their lives in search for their other half. Little did Saloni know that Simran was her other half.

For the first six months, Saloni and Simran were in a long-distance relationship and like all other couples they too felt a strong urge to spend some quality time with each other. And…..Voila! They chose to travel!

The two took a trip across seven countries in Europe and within two months Saloni realised that the man, the ideal partner that she had always only dreamt of and only envisioned of having, was right in front of her. Without much ado, they decided to get hitched, but inter-caste marriages are often a rocky ride for the couple. The two lovers were met with similar difficulties, however, they weren’t ready to give up just yet. They coaxed, convinced and urged and finally the families gave in, considering that it was best for the two if they were together!

The wedding..

What stood out the most in this wedding was the breathtaking decor coupled with a picturesque beach setting.

The mehendi ceremony had an enviable decor that every bride would have dreamt of! A ceiling with big, vibrant and colourful butterflies, swings decorated with flowers and pretty ceiling hangings made it a fairytale, dreamy function.

The floral mandaps for the wedding weren’t any less impressive. While one was a subtle white floral mandap, the other one was a bright pink!

With bright yellows on the haldi ceremony, to pink and florals on the mehendi, both the couples didn’t fail to impress each time, when it came to their outfits.

Saloni wanted to be a part of all the planning, from the logistics to the souvenirs for guests to the food menu. In a nutshell, she wanted to be a perfect hands-on bride!

For selecting her vendors, she did extensive research and once she was extremely satisfied, she went ahead with them.

The couple wanted it to be a rather intimate and private affair and that is why they chose to have a destination wedding with fewer guests.

About the venue..

“It was a great property!! The guests could not stop praising the rooms and of course the food. We are so glad that we chose Palayana and went ahead to tie the knot at this amazing venue.”

About Dipak Studio..

“Amazing! The team was extremely nice and accommodating to our needs. I didn’t want the cliche posing type pictures. I wanted very candid shots so we were just doing our thing and they were creating magic.”
