Amrit & Sanjana Bali : This extravagant wedding witnessed a host of extraordinary functions and a breathtaking venue.

The #Samba Wedding is like an adventure in its own- a wedding which starts with an ‘oh so glamourous welcome party’ and ends with an unmatched reception marked by sheer opulence and grandiosity, is nothing short of #MajorInspo.

Every function had an unconventional charm, vibe and tasteful choice of outfits, decor and themes. Not only this, but the wedding functions also witnessed some well-known personalities of B-town- Katrina Kaif, Boney Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Neha Kakkar, Norah Fatehi, and Manish Paul.

The Wedding Festivities

About the lovebirds

Sanjana is born and brought up in Indonesia, however, in 2011 she shifted to India. She kept travelling back to Indonesia to meet up with friends and family or to attend important functions. In 2017, while she was attending her friend’s wedding Amrit chanced upon her photography. Subsequently, Amrit sent her a couple of messages to which Sanjana responded after a few months. Destiny played its part and Sanjana shifted back to Jakarta and rest is history!

The Unexpected Proposal

Amrit proposed to Sanjana on her birthday- 3rd November 2018. Amrit told her that they were going for her birthday trip, so they spent three nights in Bali and because everything was so casual and normal, Sanjana didn’t have the slightest clue about what was in store for her.

Amrit took her to the Mandapa, Ritz Carlton in Ubud for a private birthday dinner. The set up was breathtaking and magical- candles and wine.

What happened next blew Sanjana away- she found a ring in her dessert and she, of course, said ‘YES’!

Brazilian-themed Party

The welcome dinner and after-party were hosted at The Apurva Kempinski. It sure was an ideal way to kick off the wedding festivities. The outdoor welcome dinner witnessed samba dancers performing and entertaining the guests. Thereafter, there was a party that had the same theme and left the guests awestruck.

Amrit looked debonair in an unconventional Gaurav Gupta suit, while Sanjana carried her lavender gown effortlessly. Not to miss the dainty crystal work. She upped her style game with wavy tresses, minimal makeup and diamond jewellery.

Intimate Mehendi

The bride had an intimate mehendi affair. What wowed us most was that her mehendi artist, Barbie Ima, etched the couple’s love story on her palms. It was super-cute and mushy!

Dhamakedaar Sangeet

The couple’s sangeet was synonymous with opulence and every single aspect of it screamed grandiosity and extravagance. It looked nothing short of a glitzy and glamourous award night! The function witnessed professional dance performances, fire shows, and the families performing on stage. If you are thinking that was all, umm…think again!

The sangeet night was hosted by well-known artist Manish Paul and the function also saw popular B-town celebs.

Sanjana looked like a billion bucks in an ice blue lehenga replete with silver embellishments, paired with dazzling diamond jewellery. Amrit complemented her well and looked suave in his royal blue kurta paired with a silver stole.

The #Samba Shaadi

The wedding mandap set against the ocean was a treat to the eyes! It looked nothing short of royalty. The intricate detailing of the mandap, the drapes, and the lush green arrangments leading to it made it a gorgeous wedding venue.

Sanjana donned a gold and bronze metallic Sabyasachi lehenga and paired her outfit with beautiful polki jewellery. Amrit complemented her really well in a Sabyasachi ivory sherwani paired with a marsala shawl and a safa.

Hip-Hop Party

For this party, Sanjana flaunted an orange number, while Amrit kept it casual with a t-shirt and jacket. Sanjana and Amrit are huge fans of the old school RNB vibe and thus as per the theme the venue was turned into an underground hip hop club. The highlight was the couple’s graffiti on a brick wall.

Pool Party

Sanjana looked stylish and chic in a crimson dress, while Amrit kept is super-casual and was seen having a gala time at the pool!

The tropical decor, cocktails, and dancers upped the pool part level!

All-Glam Reception

With black, silver, and red, this reception reeked of luxury to a whole new level.

The crystal chandeliers, bunches of red roses as table centrepieces, and classy seating arrangement stole the show. The groom was dressed in a Gaurav Gupta black tuxedo, while the bride looked light a fairytale princess in her asymmetrical hemmed gown, paired with diamond jewellery.

And all these wonderful moments were clicked by none other than DotDusk Studios. They managed to capture every moment in its true essence and the end result was truly breathtaking!
