Tanya & Azhar Mumbai
"To love is nothing. To be loved is something. To love and be loved is everything." - Bill Russell
For the Sangeet, Tanya flaunted a perfect bridal look created by Bianca Louzado. The couple looked picture-perfect together as Azhar looked regal in a purple sherwani while Tanya donned a pink and gold lehenga with shimmering mirror-work for the glitzy function.
Oh, and what a Sangeet night it was! Mika had everyone up on their feet in no time and keep the energy on an all-time high all throughout the night. If that wasn’t enough, Shah Rukh Khan made his way on the stage and danced with the happy couple. Jackie Shroff, Nora Fatehi, Himesh Reshammiya and Bobby Deol are just some of the reputed names to be snapped at the Sangeet.
The Wedding & Reception
The theme was ‘Exotic’ and every detail was carefully put together keeping in mind the theme and personal preferences of the couple. Guests were welcomed with a surplus of white and pink flowers as if they had stepped into a fantasmagorical world of bloom. Inside, the scintillating gems with the red roses, extended from the ceiling and the extravagant three-tiered chandelier created a romantic and filmy setting. The elaborate floral decor that cascaded around the seating area added a touch of fabulous freshness to the venue.
The couple tied the knot in Worli, Mumbai and wore colour-coordinated cream and gold outfits where the bride opted for a Nivedita Saboo creation while the groom went for a Vavci Dubai sherwani. The reception that followed was a star-studded event, buzzing with some of the biggest Bollywood names. Salman Khan, Rekha, Sonakshi Sinha, Juhi Chawla, Vardha and Sajid Nadiadwala and Gulshan Grover are just some of the names that were seen at the grand reception.
