The Yuvraj-Hazel Wedding Affair: All You Want to Know!

Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech who have been dating for over a year, got engaged in Bali early in November and ever since then, the country has awaited this much-loved cricketer’s wedding. And now that the entire wedding affair has been wrapped up, we’ve all awaited the details!

 Here’s a look into what went down at this star-studded wedding bash:

THE MEHNDI AND SANGEET

The mehndi function that took place in Yuvi’s hometown Chandigarh on Nobember 29^th was a sober affair with a select crown in attendance. Our beautiful bride was dressed in a yellow anarkali. She accessorized with a maang-tikka, statement earrings and minimal make up while Yuvi went for a deep blue cardigan under which he sported an all-white kurta set.
With social media being what it is, of course the first picture was shared on instagram!

The Sangeet that took place on the same day had hazel looking gorgeous in a long jacket with gold embroidery which she wore over a long white piece. Her groom looked just as dapper in a matching velvet bandhgala. The couple called for Punjabi popstar Ranjit bawa to entertain the crowd with his tunes. Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kumble, actor/VJ Anshumann Khurana and lots more attended the event.

THE CHANDIGARH WEDDING

Yuvraj and Hazel’s wedding took place the following day, November 30^th in Fatehgarh Sahib Gurudwara, Chandigarh. Like the mehndi, it was an intimate no-fuss affair. The couple took blessings from their guru at the dera of Baba Ram Singh Ganduan Wale after which they exchanged vows and tied the knot with Sikh rituals at the gurudwara.

THE GOA WEDDING

Post this, the couple and the fam-jam as well as close friends travelled to Goa for their second wedding on December 2^nd which was to be a traditional Hindu ceremony.
Yuvraj arrived to his beach wedding in contemporary swag on a florally decorated ATV wearing a cream sherwani paired with a red and gold embroidered jacket while his new bride looked stunning in an opulent, heavily embellished red benarasi saree and stunning diamond jewellery. The ceremony took place at a beautifully decorated mandap on the beach at Teso Waterfront, Siolim, Goa.

After their second wedding, they also had a reception in Goa.
