Tushaar & Garima Jaipur :
Garima and Tushaar just had the most beautiful ‘pink’ wedding at Taj Mahal Palace, Jaipur!

Tushaar and Garima, just got hitched in the most serene and beautiful wedding at Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur! From a mehndi ceremony that was a riot of colors to interesting decor, this wedding has probably been the most beautiful and quirky wedding! Choosing the international favorite of destination of Jaipur, the couple picked Taj Jai Mahal Palace for it’s perfect blend of classic nostalgia and outdoor luxury. From a quirky mehendi, and colorful Sangeet function at Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur the venue provided them with the atmosphere and look that suited the couple.

The couple

Garima, the ride recounts “Tushaar moved to Canada, where i lived, for university and fell in love with the city so he stayed after graduation. We actually have mutual friends and attended the same wedding a few weeks before we met! Talk about a small world. We met at a party and just hit it off. Our first date ended up being over 7 hours long. For both of us, there was no one ‘moment’ where we knew we wanted to get married, I think from the time we started dating it just felt right.”

The Proposal

The proposal by Tushaar was one that Garima always wanted: intimate, beautiful and catching her completely off gaurd!

“He got all my close friends and his close friends to stand on either side of him and he was standing right at the end, as I walked down the “aisle”. Apparently they were all running as we were going up the escalator but I was so oblivious that I didn’t realize what was happening until I noticed Tushaar. My best friend even took me to get a manicure that weekend to make sure my nails looked good. I didn’t clue in then either. It was the most perfect proposal ever!”

The Wedding Festivities

Tushaar and Garima had the wedding festivities over 3 days and they fit in every wedding function! They started with a simple welcome dinner, during which Garima got my mehendi done. The next day, the couple had a mela themed mehendi during the day and rajasthani themed sangeet in the evening. The mehendi was a colourful affair with carnival games, dancing and lots of food! The sangeet was filled with performances from family and friends and ended with a performance by the couple. The final day had an afternoon wedding and in the evening the couple hosted had a formal reception. The theme for the wedding was traditional and Garima decided to go all out with the traditions. Tushaar came in on an elephant for his grand baraat. The formal reception in the evening was western style, where they had their first dance, speeches by parents and bridal party.

f5 Wedding Planners

Recounting the extensive wedding planning, Garima says, “With both of us in Toronto, we definitely needed a wedding planner to be on the ground and we could not have planned the wedding the way it was without F5 Weddings. I already had a vision of what I wanted each event to be like and F5 made it all a reality.”
