Gautam Khullar Photography, Delhi - Review & Rating

Engaging Gautam Khullar for covering the photography and videography of my wedding functions was the biggest disastrous decision of my life that I will regret my whole life. It has been quite some time around 6 months to my marriage which means 6 months of Gautam severely harassing, emotionally distressing and troubling us, and now threatening and blackmailing us. I engaged Gautam around May 2018 and paid him a full advance for covering my engagement in Chandigarh and wedding in Goa. He covered my engagement function held in Chandigarh in a lackadaisical manner and without adhering to the minimum standards expected by a professional. Till date I have not received the videos for this function. He only informed us after 3 months that he had lost all video data for this function. He did not take any backups. He is currently blackmailing and intimidating us to drop all claims against him if we want our pending videos. He has till date retained them for this purpose. The emotional distress and trauma faced by me is of course in addition to the irreparable and irretrievable loss suffered due to the complete loss of a once in a lifetime event. In addition, he has given me pictures of his team enjoying in Goa when they were supposed to be covering my functions. His pictures have not covered any of our special moments. He has been highly unprofessional and grossly callous in covering the wedding. Further, his deliverables are sub-standard and low quality the edited pictures were dark, hardly anything was visible in the background and the complexion of the persons in the pictures was absurdly distorted. I am now in process of filing a complaint for blackmail and intimidation, and will follow this by going to court. Request everyone to beware from this man who posts on or two good pictures on his profile while all other pictures are worthy of being thrown down the drain. Please please dont ever consider this man to shoot any of your events.

Hiring Gautam Khullar Photography has been the worst mistake of my life, something that I am regretting to this very day.
As happy as I was hiring him considering the rave reviews that I had seen of his work, everything has gone downhill after the wedding.
It has been 1.5 years of a million unanswered calls, heated arguments, incorrect deliverables (trailer which requires editing and has not been complete til today, albums which don't have the sheets that were shortlisted but was made according to the whims and fancies of the printer apparently and has not been corrected till date) and countless email exchanges because they are never able to find the pictures that have been shortlisted at least a thousand times in order for them to complete the above mentioned deliverables. The result in the end you would like to know - my family doesn't have a single thing to look at which is complete.
After this, I believe, he has himself stopped selling photo albums as a part of the package and probably describes this as a harrowing experience for himself. But imagine what it would be like for me when the people who have been given the responsibility of capturing the memories of the three most important days of your life end up making it a nightmare thanks to their unprofessional ( it is seriously an understatement at this point) behaviour!
I would like to warn each and everyone of you to be careful while hiring them because I am writing this today only because I sincerely do not want this to happen to any bride/groom again.
