Bridal Couture by Tarun Tahiliani for the Wedding Times Fashion Fiesta
Tarun Tahiliani’s bridal collection, with showstopper Kriti Sanon was showcased at the Wedding Times Fashion Fiesta presented by The Times of India at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. His collection took us back to the 1700’s with all its components. The decor, the clothes, and the jewellery – each element had a touch of regal Nizami vibe to it. The remarkable ramp was set outdoors and decorated exclusively with Vintage crystal floor lamps that illuminated the entire space beautifully.
The models showcased Tarun Tahiliani’s latest bridal collection made in hues of gold, red and orange and each of them also wore jewellery exclusively designed by the mastermind himself. Each creation was a wonder in itself, but, as always the show-stopping lehenga worn by Kriti Sanon also stopped our heartbeats a little. The sheer beauty, detail and elegance all in one ensemble can only be the creation of an ace designer like Tarun Tahiliani.
"I think it was a fabulous show, I have done a lot of shows but this was has to be one of the grandest one. I was really looking forward to walking the ramp here. The way Tarun dresses up every model, the ensemble looks pretty on them. I like the idea of the lehenga being a little short in the front and long at the back. The multiple draping with the unique jewellery that Tarun designed is exquisite. When you are wearing a beautiful garment like this, you start feeling really beautiful." – Kriti Sanon
We agree, Kriti! We agree.
