Sonam Kapoor’s official mehndi function saw the best of ivory & gold – who wore what & how! #Sonamkishaadi

While the Kapoor princess held a small mehendi ceremony for her close friends and family last night at her residence, Sonam Kapoor’s official mehndi function is taking place at her residence at Sunteck, Signature Island, in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. Needless, to say the event say all the who’s who of the industry attend it!

First, let’s start with what Sonam chose to wear –

Sonam’s look:

The bollywood fashionista chose to wear a stunning ivory & gold chikankari Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla lehenga for the occasion and I can’t get over how stunning it is!

I mean just look at the backless choli! *So gorgeous*

The makeup was done by her BFF and ace Bollywood makeup artist Namrata Soni and it’s oh-so-perfect!

This is what she had to say about it, “We’ve kept tradition in mind with this look with a winged eyeliner and a long braid with lots of flowers—we’ve tried to symbolise Indian weddings, and who better than Sonam to do this”!

The braided hairdo was as gorgeous as it can be. Here’s what Namrata Soni had to say about it, “ The braid is almost till her butt and very messy with a lot of flowers. It was a very traditional look with a beautiful long fishtail braid and a lot of mogras. We’ve kept it soft in the front, with a stunning maang tikka from her mother,”!

A heirloom piece from her mother? *Awwwww*

While Anand Ahuja is complimenting her outfit in the most beautiful way!
