All that happened at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s musical night and how their wedding invite looks like!

All that happened at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s musical night and how their wedding invite looks like!

The 2nd big fat Ambani wedding is just around the corner and I personally can’t wait! And if you are thinking that you have witnessed all that the Ambani’s had to offer, you’ve got it wrong!

Just last night  the Ambani and Mehta families kickstarted the wedding festivities with a musical night at the Ambani residence, Antilia, in Mumbai in true blue gujju style and it was fab!

The night of festivities included a live performance from the Garba singer Falguni Pathak herself and the both the families danced the night away to it.

Also, for the uninitiated, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s wedding card is here and OMG, it’s freaking elaborate. It consists of a traditional box, just like Isha and Anand Piramal’s one, but is totally personalised for Akash and Shloka. It features Lord Krishna and Radha illustrations and pictures, but what caught our attention was the intricate detailing of it.

As per the Ambani rituals, the first card was offered at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai and now a sneak peek of it has surfaced online.

When the inner compartments of the invite are opened, it leads to the pop-up shaadi card with the most thoughtful text. It reads, “O Surya Deva (Sun God). You are the light in our Aakash. You illuminate our every Shloka.” *So Cuteeee*

It even contains a handwritten note by the groom-to-be’s parents, Nita and Mukesh and it’s the sweetest li’l detail ever. The card then goes on to give details of all the wedding functions. The wedding will be held at Jio World Centre at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. It will be followed by ‘Mangal Parv’ celebrations on the 10th of March and another reception will be held on March 11th.

Well well, after this, one can hardly wait for the wedding festivities to actually begin.
